I am never sure how to photograph a bright boat on the water, I always feel that the image comes out looking strange. So I did what I do and changed the logic. I put the focal point on the shore across the way and then changed to FStop. What do you think? Did it work out well, or does it just look strange?

He is gliding maybe 20 feet off the water to find a bit for dinner and then a perch for the night. Not sure why I get the overwhelming feeling that he is simply alone, the reality is that there are many birds in this region.

This guy has been super active around the park lately., I have seen him and at least one female, but there is so much activity I am not sure there isn't another pair here. I don't think we are in mating season for these guys so they may have just determined they would like to spend the summers with the Manatee as well. I love to photograph Cardnials because of their color, but they are no where as friendly as the mocking birds.

What an amazing creature, they fly around and don't really bug anyone. And if you ever really take the time and have the chance to study one of them, I simply find them amazing. I wonder if they watch me the way that I watch them.
