The surface tension on these lilly pads is simply amazing. I hadn't ever really seen these in the wild before.

For the last 4 years I have been trying to catpure a good shot of a Rosetta Spoonbill. I have had a few decent shots, but ot really a shot that I really liked. Yesterday I got lucky as I was walking the dog home this guy came flying right at me and landed no more than 10 feet in front of me. So over the next weeks I will have some Spoonbills to show you. Some of these he even looks like he is smiling.
