Came across this grave about 30 minutes before sunset while walking through the desert looking for the perfect Joshua tree for a sunset shot.

On September evenings, hundreds of people gather to watch up to 15,000 Vaux’s swifts enter Chapman Elementary School’s chimney to roost for the night in Portland, Oregon. The birds start circling the area in the hundreds about 30 minutes before sunset. After the sun goes down, they enter the chimney in a chaotic swirl for about 25 minutes. When the last swift enters the chimney, the crowd breaks out into applause.

Abandoned school in the pretty and peaceful semi-ghost town of Antelope, Oregon. In the 1980s the town was virtually taken-over by 7,000 followers of the cult of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh who established their world-wide headquarters at a nearby ranch.
For two years, the school building served as a home to followers of the Bhagwan.
