Abandoned school on Stage Road, a half-mile from the historic Hat Creek Stagecoach Station, northeast of Lusk, Wyoming in Niobrara County.
Like much of my Spring road trip, had to shoot this on a stormy day with high winds. Glad the crummy light didn't discourage me from taking it, since I like the sky and I think the bleak light fits the subject.

Abandoned house and grain elevators on a rainy, foggy morning in Onida, population 658, in Sully County, South Dakota.
Onida is full of interesting scenes. I was limited for time when I was here, so I'd like to shoot this town again.

Old farm machinery and prairie vista northeast of Sheridan, Wyoming in Sheridan County, along Prairie Dog Creek road.
Saw this scene while following George Crook's army's approximate route to The Battle of the Rosebud. One of the Great Sioux War tourism side trips of my vacation.
