Complexities in the sky, much too hard to contemplate before morning coffee and donuts.

The search for good sunset light continues. My buddy Sid and I got to enjoy this color-filled cove one Sunday evening. I climbed onto a wet boulder and managed to precariously balance my tripod (and self) on its slippery slopes. We were set to hit Sand Harbor in Nevada for sunset, but ended up on the coast. Here is Sid's take. I'll take this little cove as a backup plan anytime.

A little adventure in some knee deep glacial runoff along the southern edge of Iceland. It was a fine December late afternoon. My maiden voyage to Iceland was on a photo workshop by THOR Photography and Nick Page, the latter who took this fun image of me.

A place of extraordinary beauty is Bandon Beach. The myriad of sea stacks sets up numerous possible compositions. A true gem for the photographer!
