This is the most impressive three-point tear I have ever seen.
Garnet had gone on a little walkabout, probably with Pickle. She was gone long enough that it had become worrisome, eventually she returned on her own with this crazy torn flap of skin hanging off her back.
I have no idea how this happened, my two guesses were she tried to sneak under a fence and caught a corner, or she had a run-by with another dog who just managed to catch a corner of skin. If you look closely you can see too that she is quite muddy. I can imagine her doing this and thinking, "I better get home."
The vets did a fine job of patching her up. Her bandage was actually made of a baby diaper. If these dogs could talk.
