There are so many old, abandoned, broken and decaying farm buildings on PEI, that just photographing them really doesn't seem enough at times. In this case, I thought I'd get a bit creative and try to emphasize the building's age and past with some analog style editing. What do you think? Would this be a better way to go?

This photo was taken at a beach on Prince Edward Island. While the ocean views were spectacular, I found myself drawn to the juxtaposition of the angular wooden beach structures against the soft flowing waves and curves of the sand. A bright blue sky and brilliant red sands were just icing on the cake for me.

I think dandelions must be the unofficial spring crop of Prince Edward Island. Everywhere I look, fallow fields, yards, and parks are blanketed with millions of dandelion. It's actually very beautiful. This was just a tiny slice of an entire hillside which was coated in the yellow flowers.
