In 2006, the boxwoods were easy to spot in the snow-covered cemetery. The fieldstone seen in the foreground is for Pvt. Elias Powell, CSA who was killed by Union cavalry scouts in 1862.

This is a large cemetery with many inscribed and unmarked fieldstones, depressions, and a couple of fence posts amid the periwinkle and beneath the boxwoods and fallen trees. It is estimated to have 50 burials.
