The official start of the commercial holiday season.
Thanksgiving in a few day. Black Thursday shopping. Can't wait right? Everyone goes to dinner and half leave early cause they gotta get to the store. Joy Joy. People are so caught up in it. Interesting enough it HAS become an American tradition. Sad huh? Christmas is cool but I still thing Thanksgiving rules. I actually prefer the traditional Christmas Eve Seven Fish Dinner over the Christmas Day dinner always. Just me.

The annual holiday season Light Up Night was really successful this year. The weather was great and the fireworks set off at both venues were wonderful. There was a change made this year that the riverwalk by the stadiums was fenced off this year and many more police than before. The more police was a good thing but I was really disappointed in the riverwalk being blocked off. But, we don't make the rules and it was supposedly changed this year for everyone's safety from the firework barge. Guess that's a good thing too. Even so, I was disappointed with that restriction. But that's just me right?
