So, it means: 'cots' - sheep enclosures, an' 'wolds' - gentle 'ills.
Neat, eh?
The pussle wuz compleate so we wuz all pleezed wiv it, altho' sum of the peeces went in more than one place - that's called a 'false fit' in case yew diddunt no."

Taken from a British Railways poster of 1949 by Paul Chater (1878-1949), this particular example from This England Publishing was by far the least interesting of the ones we've done so far - many false fits made it slow going so it took several days instead of the usual two or so. Complete.
