This performance by Chris Miles from Kirkcaldy in Fife contained more recently composed songs than traditional ballads e.g. "Limehouse Reach" (Cicely Fox-Smith), "The King's Shilling" (Ian Sinclair), "Halloween" Violet Jacob, "All Jock Tamson's Bairns are Coming Home" (Steven Clark), "John Condon" (Sam Starrett, Richard Laird, Tracey McRory). There were Irish ballads as well as Scots ones, reflecting her frequent visits to Ireland (including a second home in Cloonacool in Sligo). The second half of the evening was based on wotksops we has been giving as part of the World War One anniversary, both soldiers' songs ("Hanging on the Old Barbed Wire", "When this Bloody War is Over") as those popular at home at the time ("Sunshine of your Smile", "If you were the only Girl in the World").
