Anna Massie is from Fortrose on the Black Isle in Easter Ross, and now lives in Glasgow. She was the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2003. I first saw her live with Tachem at the 2006 Celtic Connections and have since taken multiple photos, including ones with Blazin' Fiddles and her duo with Mairearad Green (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/annamassie/). Her set was based around the recent abum "Two Down" and included her own compostions, songs by J.P. Cormier and Rick Taylor, plus a disco classic.

Lauren Collier is from Irvine in Ayrshire and now lives in Glasgow. She combines a background in Traditional Scottish Folk with an interest in music from around the world, which she was first exposed to as a teenager at a world music camp in Sweden. She holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and released her debut album "Uddevalla" in 2023. Her band for this gig included Tiernan Courell, originally from Sligo but now based in Glasgow. In 2017 he was All-Ireland Fleadh Champion on the Flute. Her set included songs from Macedonia, Haiti, India and Shetland.
