Thomas (age 5) isn't really into drawing and painting. He's more like a constructor. But... the way he writes his name made me think of the great and late Leonardo da Vinci who wrote upside down and from right to left . One thing's for sure - they both were/are lefties...

I feel honoured to be the supplier of the picture on the latest Chrismas card, issued by the association that strives for the preservation of the unique environment where the windmill 'Het Prinsenhof" (The Prince's Court) is part of.

And it was great to have talked to many people that were in awe of what was going on at the mill on January 10th 2009. Sales went up considerably.

Beach bollard No. 38 near the town of Egmond aan Zee. 38 stands for 38 kilometers to get to No. 0 which is at location Huisduinen, up North.

What 5 stands for is unknown to me.

HHNK stands for Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier (regional water board).

The little bronze round nail with the word 'NAP' indicates the reference level to which height measurements are referred to in The Netherlands. For convenience this 'Normaal Amsterdams Peil' equals the average sea level. There are 50,250 of those bronze markers.
