Plus local root beer. At a Charbel's in Manchester. I'd noticed the "Lobster Roll, $9.95" sign as I drove by and for a moment I thought "oh, I'm sure I'll see lots of places with lobster rolls." But then my better nature told me I was an idiot to pass up what very well might be my only chance at a lobster roll so I found a place to turn around and went back. It was terrific!
The Saturday evening balloon rides were canceled at the Quechee Balloon Festival, but this guy nicely partially inflated his so it could dry out--and we could at least see some balloon against the blue Vermont sky
