A funny thing happened on our way out of the park that closes a 1/2 an hour before dark. We got distracted. Walking the gorge trail we discovered that there was a way down to view the Upper Falls at Burgess Falls State Park from in front of the falls! Little did we realize that it was right when we should be leaving when we scrambled down. When we came out of the gorge the Park Police were waiting and furious. When we explained we were from another timezone and we were confused we got off the hook. Not much color to work with after dark but I like how it turned out.
