When I grow up I'm going to be a beautiful little blue heron, but I'm in my juvenile state and so am almost white. Caught this one on Horsepen Bayou and it was very approachable. When they mature, they don't care to much for approaching canoes.

A full shot of the juvenile little blue heron that gave me every opportunity in the world to get a good shot of it. Somewhat confusing background but I at least got some detail in all of those white feathers for a change.
