Beside Studio d'Xavier is an old burned out theater that served as a parking lot for the past two decades. When I purchased the building that houses the studio, I had to also purchase the vacant lot and the old facade of the theater.

I commissioned a team of ironworkers to build a series of wrought iron gates to fit into the openings of the stucco and brick facade. The huge interior will be landscaped and will have lights strung between the two walls. We plan to have concerts under the stars, events and happenings inside. I have named the space Place de la Baume after Jean Joseph de la Baume, an ancestor who fought under the Marquis de Lafayette during the American Revolution. Here we are installing the largest of the gates.
