I was lucky enough to have met Ross Jennings of the progressive metal band, Haken, on this evening; nice bloke as they say. He is the lead singer for the band.

Haken is not really a new band. They have been around over 10 years, but they haven't quite broken through in the US, at least in my eyes. And that is a shame because they all play with musical virtuosity that is worthy of anyone's attention. Just check out that monster bass that Conner is playing. It's a six string bass! I have a difficult time with four!
Haken no es una banda nueva de verdad. Como banda, toca desde hace más que 10 años, but no ha tenido el éxito de merece en EEUU, al menos a mi parecer. Y eso es una vergüenza porque cada integrante de la banda toca su instrumento con una virtuosidad musical que debe llamarle la atención a quienquiera. Sólo mira el bajo que toca Conner. ¡Tiene seis cuerdas! ¡No puedo manejar cuatro!
