This new band, headed by Meytal Cohen, YouTube star, really did a nice job performing. Very good musicians, all of them and I was surprised to see Doc Coyle playing guitar for them. I did not know he was even active after leaving the band, God Forbid. Funny story; I spoke with Eric Emery, the vocalist, several times during the night in the bathroom. ;)

Esta banda nueva, dirigida por Meytal Cohen, estrella de YouTube, dieron buen concierto. Todos son músicos sumamente buenos y hasta me sorprendió ver a Doc Coyle tocando la guitarra rítimica en la banda. Ni sabía que él era activo después de dejar la banda, God Forbid. Les cuento algo chistoso. Hablé varias veces con Eric Emery, el vocalista de la banda, durante la noche en el baño. ;)

Doc Coyle and Eric Emery...I actually talked to Eric as he was warming up in the bathroom at the venue. It is a small venue but historic to people of the Dallas music scene. The venue's name is Trees. That is why you see what looks like a tree trunk on the stage in this picture.
Doc Coyle y Eric Emery...Me encontré con Eric y le hablé en el baño de este club. Es un club pequeño pero histórico para la gente de la escena de música de Dallas. El club se llama Trees. Por eso se ve lo que parece un tronco de árbol en el escenario en esta foto.
