I took this picture as a winter storm had blanketed the area. I was frozen but it was worth taking the shot. It also represents my first sighting of a bald eagle; always exciting.

What is impressive here is how enormous the nest is! It was frigid as an ice storm was coming in. It did not faze the bald eagle at all.
