I broke the cardinal rule of wildlife and bird photography by not checking well enough my background. I hate that stick in the background, but other than that, I like the photo of the hummingbird getting nectar from this Turk's cap plant.

My hummingbirds are almost gone until next spring, but this handsome male is still with me. He will be departing soon though. Safe travels little guy.
