Spring is finally showing up in Trout Lake, Washington. I live in the mountains, and we are always dragging behind the lowlands. This just makes spring all the more exciting when it peaks out of the clouds. I was playing around with different settings on my phone, from extended zoom to wide angle.

Life is good, even though I’ve hit the bottom of the barrel financially, I do still have a place to live at least! Not a whole lot else right now and I’m grateful for food banks. Things have been a bit challenging lately, but I will get through, I always do. 🌈❤️. Friends just helped pay for my pro membership so I can keep my 30+ thousand photos active on here so I don't need to delete and just keep a small free account. I was pretty active for a lot of years and I would be OK with dropping back to FREE, but there’s some history and stories saved in here that I’d rather not lose. Does anyone know if downloading all your information includes all the post descriptions?
Thank you for your encouragement, especially my longtime Flickr friends who taught and supported me for many years. Folks like Jaap Cost Budde, and Don Briggs, who bought me my first and third DSLR cameras (both canon rebels,) at different times so that I could continue. Also, Rebecca, who sent me her old pro Cam when she upgraded. That was my second DSLR and it changed my life. I’ve been using that old Canon 5D Mark ii for about 10 to 12 years! That first Rebel Got used so much I wore out the shutter. Literally! It fell apart in the middle of a shot, on my way to the Redwoods with Larry Andreasen. I was sick about it. I had no idea that could even happen.

This is Jim, he’s my landlord, neighbor, and friend. Sometimes he calls me one of his kids and I like that. As you can see, we’ve had a bit of snow overnight and some of the night before.. Here in Trout Lake, WA there was about 20 inches fall overnight as of 9 AM on November 30. The elevation here is about 1940 feet.
