I ate this at the store that has been running since 1855. I would think they should know a thing or two about Danish pastry, and I was not disappointed. When I asked the store clerk what was their best pastry, and she pointed out this one, and it was very good.

The church was built in the 15th century by the Gesuati. The monks dedicated themselves to the sick, through production and free distribution of medicine. In the apse basin, there are frescoes showing Jesus (Centre), with St. Paul on the left, and St. Peter and St. Jerome on the right. On the arch, there is a painting of Annunciation by Giovanni Francesco Caroto, dated 1508 and signed.
