I waited about an hour and a half for the moon to rise, but it didn't and I had to go to dinner. By the time I was done, the moon was higher than I would have liked, but it still looked cool. And I guess it gave me an excuse to go back sometime in the future!

After the sunset I went out to take some pictures of the moon and the city lights from where we live in Berlin. But the first place I went was too windy and the second place was too foggy. A few shots turned out cool, but nothing to write home about.

We got a waffle maker for Christmas, so I finally tried it out. This was the first one, so I hadn't gotten the proportions right, hence the holes. But they were still delicious!
