I took this picture in 2003 when I visited
the area, i spent the first 16 years of my life this village and found it very sad to see the boarded up houses where friends and family once lived

Wear Hopper No 3 Sunderland, this was originally part of the dredging fleet on the River Wear, it was moored up on The River Thames near Tower Bridge London for several years until 3 or 4 years ago when it was moved to an unknown place, i had a picure of this published in The Sundrland Echo and had about 20 calls from local people who had a connection to it, i met a retired engineer who once worked on it and he told me some amazing stories about it, nobody knows how it ended up in London
