I saw the smoke as I was driving home, and I just had to stop. I got there before the fire department.
The fire was almost out by the end of this video, but because of flickr's 90 second time limit I can't show the whole thing. After what you see here (what I had to cut off) the fire fighters came in with thier chainsaws buzzing to cut away the brush so they could get to the source of the fire: a homeless camp.
