I made a short trip to Cape Cod this Saturday and by chance came across this remote trail in Truro. It started out a as a fire lane and eventually turned into a narrow trail leading all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, which is at the end here. The trail was beyond awesome. I came across just a few other "explorers", some on bike and others walking their dog.

I haven't really done much hiking for the last several months, but I finally got back into the swing of things hiking Mt. Cardigan, NH. I'd call it an intermediate level mountain, but it feels harder when you haven't hiked in a while :)
This is the view from the summit. where the views are basically 360 degrees. It's definitely one of my favorite hikes - not super hard and certainly not a walk in the park.

The bird habitat/ sanctuary in Belmont is one of my all-time favorites. Shown is the turtle pond about an hour before sunset. No turtles yet. Such a quiet place for reflection.
