I'm posting one from the archive from my trip to Bradford Bog in northern NH (hence the name play). A lot of rainy days recently with fewer photo opportunities.
Happy Thursday all!

Continuing where I left off at the last photo, this is the walking path along the beach from the parking lot to North Light. You can just discern the lighthouse in the distance. The atmosphere after sunset was unbelievable.
Works best when viewed in large.

North light (built in 1867) located on Block Island, RI, has been on my bucket list for a long time. I finally managed to get there right before sunset. The scenery was spectacular. Only caveat was the screeching gulls that were incredibly loud and defensive (you can see many of them in the photo), something right out of a certain Hitchcock movie.
Happy Thursday everyone!

I can't recommend Moore state park in Paxton enough, even it's a bit out of the way. The old mill site is impressive, as is the "waterfall". When the azaleas bloom, this place must be even more special.

The white cedar swamp trail in Wellfleet got a bit whiter from one of the few snowfalls this year on the cape. I've been in this place several times before, it's always a fantastic walk. The swamp was frozen alright, but the mood was intact. A bit of sunlight peeked through towards the end of the boardwalk.
Happy Sunday all!
