Oldie of the week...
Well, I'm sitting at the Phoenix airport, with my new laptop. I don't have access to all my hard drives and fancy computer stuff I have back at my motorhome. I figured now would be a good time to change the date on something, and post my oldie of the week. I am flying to Florida this week to see my family, who I haven't seen in a year and a half. And Jill's Junk is here too!
All the driving I have done in the past year has made me really appreciate just how amazing air travel really is. It’s funny how we’ve grown to take it for granted. We all complain about delays, sitting on the runway, and crappy airline meals. But, it really is amazing when you realize that just a hundred years ago, a journey from New York to California took months. I recently got an email with a youtube link of this comedian on Conan. I’ve never seen him before, but this is a really funny clip, where he talks about just that. How spoiled we’ve gotten and how little we appreciate things. If you have a few minutes, check this out.
