Architects Claude Oakland & Associates and A.Quincy Jones Jr. and Frederick Emmons joined forces in designing homes in the Lynn Estates subdivision in Thousand Oaks, California. The community of approximately 130 homes were built by developer Joseph Eichler in the early 60s.

It is one of only three Eichler tract projects in Southern California and the only one in Ventura County. The tract features three basic floor plans: a post-and-beam with a flat roofa low gabled design and a third model with a central gable. The boundaries of the tract are Lynn Road, Fordham Avenue and Camino Manzana; interior streets are Campbell and Stoddard plus a small cul-de-sac, Ellsworth Court.
