Cologne Cathedral is a Gothic style Roman Catholic cathedral located in Cologne, Germany. Also known as the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, it is the seat of the Archbishop of Cologne and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. It is the tallest twin-spired church in the world, the second tallest church in Europe after Ulm Minster, and the third tallest church of any kind in the world.

The old forge and the Roder Tower in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a town in the Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany, known for its well-preserved medieval old town. It is one of only three towns in Germany that still have completely intact city walls, the other two being Nördlingen and Dinkelsbühl, both also in Bavaria.

Schloßprunn is a castle in Lower Bavaria situated near the village Baiersdorf, perched high above the Altmühl River Valley. Rulers of Prunn were first mentioned in 1037; the castle itself dates from around 1200. The region became important during the reign of Ludwig I, King of Bavaria from 1825 until 1848.

Berchtesgaden is a municipality in Bavaria, Germany, near the border with Austria, Adolf Hitler began vacationing in the area in the 1920s, purchasign a home in the Obersalzberg above the town and began extensive renovations in the following years. As other top Third Reich figures, such as Hermann Göring, Joseph Goebbels, Martin Bormann, Heinrich Himmler, and Albert Speer, began to frequent the area the Party began to purchase and requisition land in the Obersalzberg. After the war, Berchtesgaden became a military zone and most of its buildings were requisitioned by the U.S. Army.

The Roseneck was a group of half-timbered houses which were destroyed in the air raids on Frankfurt in 1944. The Roseneck platz was a small square south of St. Bartholomew's Cathedral.
