Architect W. C. Tanner designed the Greek temple for film director Dorothy Arzner, the first female member of the Directors Guild of America, and her lifelong companion, dancer-choreographer Marion Morgan in 1930. The original gardens were designed by the distinguished Southern Californa lanscape architect Florence Yoch, with "elaborate horticultural layouts" i.e. hanging gardens, which have been simplified in recent years. The property has been “revived inside and out by architect Annie Chu, along with the addition of a pool.” Declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #301. Located at 2249 Mountain Oak Drive in the Los Feliz Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. The residence is currently (May 2012) available for sale priced at $3,495,000.

The Corona di Collini Estate of child actress Jane Withers. Withers purchased the home in 1969, a year after the death of her husband, singer Ken Errair (Four Freshmen). The home was built for Josiah Lee Dabbs, a prominent member of the Democratic Party in 1926 by distinguished architect W.C. Tanner. In 1992, the home was purchased by actress Geena Davis.

Situated on a hillside lot of over 19,000 sq. feet, the villa contains 13,000 sq. feet of living space with four master suites and 7.5 baths. The Spanish Churrigueresque style entrance is noteworthy. It is currently (February 2006) the highest listed price house that has ever come on the market in Los Feliz at $8,950,000.
