Canale D'Agordo is a small village located in Valle D'Agordo in Veneto region (Northern Italy)...
it is almost formed by wooden buildings but this one is made of stones and wood and t is dated 1640 (written just under the roof....

The Agordino Valley, named after the capital Agordo, is crossed by a single large river, the Cordevole. It rises near the Ladin mountain farming area Buchenstein and stretches, fed by tributaries from the other side valleys of the Agordino, right down to the Piave. Beautiful old villages and a relatively pristine Dolomites landscape without major tourist centres mark the Agordino. High and exceptionally charming mountain passes such as the Passo di Falzarego, the Passo San Pellegrino, Passo Pordoi and the Passo di Campolongo connect with the Agordino with the surrounding valleys.

LEFFE
is a premium beer brand owned by InBev Belgium, the European operating arm of the global Anheuser–Busch InBev brewery giant. There are several beers in the range, and they are marketed as Abbey beers. They are brewed in large quantities and are widely distributed.
The abbey of Leffe was founded in 1152 on the Meuse River in the province of Namur in southern Belgium. Like many monasteries across Europe, the Premonstratensian (Norbertine) canons of the abbey brewed ale. Using knowledge passed from generation to generation and ingredients found in the wild near the abbey, the canons developed a unique ale, brewed only at the abbey.
The abbey has been damaged by both natural and human circumstances over the years: it was destroyed by a flood in 1460, a fire swept through the settlement in 1466, billeted troops damaged the brewery in 1735, and the outbreak of the French Revolution in 1794 resulted in it being abandoned and the brewery destroyed. The canons returned in 1902.
In 1952 the production of beer was continued after a partnership with the Flemish based Lootvoet brewery in Overijse. This brewery was later bought by the international beer company Interbrew (now AB InBev). Leffe was then brewed in Mont-Saint-Guibert until Interbrew closed that brewery. Now all Leffe brands are brewed at the Stella Artois brewery in Leuven.
The 1952 agreement between the Leffe abbey and a commercial brewery is said to have been the first of its kind (royalties continue to be paid to the abbey). Today, Belgium's beer category called "abbey" is thriving - with several beers brewed under similar licences to Leffe as well as abbey beers named after abbey ruins or abbeys that no longer exist. The Affligem and Grimbergen beers are a part of Heineken's international portfolio. Other notable abbey brands include Corsendonk.
The Leffe museum in the town of Dinant is open to visitors.

The district is centred in an orbital motorway straddling the Hauts-de-Seine département municipalities of Courbevoie, Nanterre and Puteaux. La Défense is primarily a business district, and hosts a population of 25,000 permanent residents and 45,000 students. La Défense is also visited by 8,000,000 tourists each year, and houses an open-air museum.

ALESSANDRO MANZONI....
Alessandro Francesco Tommaso Antonio Manzoni (7 March 1785 – 22 May 1873) was an Italian poet and novelist. He is famous for the novel The Betrothed (orig. Italian: I Promessi Sposi) (1827), generally ranked among the masterpieces of world literature. The novel is also a symbol of the Italian Risorgimento, both for its patriotic message and because it was a fundamental milestone in the development of the modern, unified Italian language.
He lived in Milan:
Casa Manzoni is an 18th-century palace at the historical centre of Milan and the home of the famous Italian poet and novelist Alessandro Manzoni between 1813 and his death in 1873.
Manzoni is famous for his historical novel I Promessi Sposi (The Betrothed), considered as one of the masterpieces of world literature and said to be the most famous and widely read novel of the Italian language.
The museum offers an insight into the life of Manzoni, with all the rooms still having their original furnishing and ornaments. Besides the museum, Casa Manzoni also houses the Centro Nazionale di Studi Manzoniani, preserving Manzoni’s personal library with over 38.000 books.
