2 of my fave people in the world are going to New Zealand today. NZ is one of my most favorite experiences of my life and I have so many memories from there. Came across this image from a solo trip to NZ where I drove all over the South Island exploring and healing and searching for joy. This scene resonated with me. TGIF:)

The end of January is when I start to dream about Spring. I am not a huge fan of Winter and this one has been a real biotch with temps for almost a week in the 10-17 degree range, then an ice storm that was scary af. We don't get weather like that in the PNW much to everyone's surprise. We have a very moderate climate. Usually. Now we are back to rain. Rain. And, more rain. Hopefully it is watering those lil flowies up in Skagit:) Happy Tulip Tuesday, friends!

Happy Waterfall Wednesday! This waterfall is in Washington State and a real biotch to get to. When I first went there I stood at the top of this steep rock pile cliff and thought - there is no way in heck I can get down there. A few hours later I stood at the base of that freaking rock hill and thought - there is no way I can get back up there. But I did. And that experience more than anything stays with me.
