Ken Perlman is originally from New York and now lives in Boston. The two main sources for his music are the Southern Appalachians and Scotland (mostly via Prince Edward Island in eastern Canada), but he also played tunes from Texas, Ireland and elsewhere. Mostly on the banjo, with some fingerstyle guitar and one vocal at this gig.
