I saw this duo from Kentucky do a short set at Late Night Sessions during Celtic Connections ar the beginning of the year (
www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157706929813511/). Here they wrote many of the songs they performed, along with others by musicians from around their area like Don Rogers. However, the style of the songs was firmly traditional with a focus on social themes affecting their locality like the consequences of Deep Mining and the Opioid Crisis.
