This shot of a Dawlish Warren groyne was taken on the same day as my previous groyne shot but the sun has just popped up over the horizon so I'm facing west this time. Again, I've used a long exposure to smooth out the water and sky. I really like the blue tone of the image, but I feel I could have got a better composition. I guess I'll just have to visit this location again!

I haven't shared an image for a while but I've been busy on a couple of things. First is that I've started a new photography blog on my website (julianbaird.me). I want to share my landscape photography experiences, so if you have some time please check it out! The other thing that has kept me busy is my new Phantom 3 4K drone. This is an image I took with the drone while I was out shooting Wheal Coates mine in Cornwall. I'll be posting more drone images as I integrate this amazing bit of kit into my photography workflow.
