We spent an great week birdwatching and staying at Paradise in Portugal, Santa Clara a Velha, Portugal.
The property sits above the Barragem de Santa Clara with fabulous gardens leading down to the shoreline.
Access to the Quinta is along a very long unmade track that winds down through meadows filled with wild flowers in spring and cork woods. There are some wonderful views from the track and walks from the Quinta.
