There are 3 blue lines on the button, 3 wooden cotton reels and 3 Forget-me-not flowers. I didn't consciously plan it that way, but as it happens, 3 is my favourite number. :)
The glass button is from the 1920s/30s and the cotton reels from the 1930s to the early 1950s. The Forget-me-not flowers, on the other hand, are fresh from my garden.

Just a little pink in an image usually makes me happy. :)
The Forget-me-not flower in this one is right on the edge of being pink, but it's close enough. This is a handmade ceramic bobbin, which was created by a lovely lady in Northern Ireland. She makes her moulds using wild flowers, grasses and herbs from her own garden. The 2 wooden cotton reels are vintage and, perhaps, between 60 and 70 years old.

A greetings card, an envelope, an eraser, a paper clip and a pencil. That's a lot of stationery to pack into a small space.
For this week's Macro Mondays group theme, Stationery... just in case you were in any doubt. :)
The eraser is 1ΒΌ" wide. The pencil is made from recycled newspaper, which creates wonderful shavings when it's sharpened.

Three little ceramic houses and a couple of tiny flowers from the garden. Maybe I should collect a whole street of them. They're cute and, best of all, they don't take up much space. :)

This is another one from my recent visit to the lovely gardens at Borde Hill. I hope I've identified it correctly. I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm wrong. :)
(The date taken is wrong because this image was actually taken just a few days ago. I've since corrected my camera.)
