The goose never got all that close - this is a heavily cropped 1000mm shot. But hey, life bird! And the day was beautiful. Green lush hills from all of the glorious rain we have been having. Huge waves. Warm sun. On the way home we started talking about how much it felt like being in Hawaii and before you know it, we found a way to get back to Kauai next month.
Hawaii sounds like a balm for the troubled soul right now. The world is feeling pretty scary.
