After 2 half arsed moonrise attempts from previous nights this one turned out much better. The moon is rising further towards the East as the days go by and previous shots were thwarted by trees in the near distance. Fortuitously last nights attempt had a farm building up on Ipstones Edge as some kinda foreground interest.

I had the camera balanced on the roof Velux window so I'm surprised it came out sharpish :)

95% waning full moon and so beautiful to watch rising thru the atmosphere.

Another blustery grey day high up on the moors.

Some spectacular weather conditions up on the moors earlier. I only saw the right hand side from the road I was on. Swinging a left revealed the rainbow in all its glory. Just had to pull over and took an 8 shot vertical pano.
