Such a pretty little Lutheran church. It can be found on the main drag from Vik to Black Beach. What a fabulous setting for your final resting place!

A worthy stop off on the road towards Black Beach, Vik, Iceland.

Almost every church we stopped off to shoot was in the middle of nowhere! This was taken at 10.20am on a Sunday morning with not one parishioner in sight. Typical of all the others we visited. Strange!

Given the conditions we had I think mono is the only way to go with the Budir Black Church.

It's been sat on my desktop for ages and about time it had an airing whilst I edit something different!

Day One, Region One, Gardur…

We headed north of Keflavik Airport after picking up the Duster.... Testing out its grip along the way!

After only driving a DSG gearbox for the last 5 years it soon fell back into place, even changing gear with the right hand!!!!!

I have decided to post my images from the trip in chronological order...…. Good or bad so please bear with me.....

The picturesque church overlooking the town of Vik in Iceland.

This was Day 2 and stop number 1. We were on our way to Black Beach but this really caught our eye. I can't tell you how steep and windy the road was up to here. Covered in snow and ice too. Dusty made it up there tho without a flinch! Just goes to show how ill prepared us Brits are for a dusting of the white stuff!
