Between the seasons on a wonderful day somewhere in Switzerland. Idyllic but windy.
We set out that day with the idea of experiencing atmospheres like this, because the wind that was forecast over the mountains is known for spectacles in nature. At first everything seemed to be over when we arrived at this place but then, as if by a miracle, the sky opened in front of us and we saw this landscape. What a gift because we could see two seasons and the mountains were covered in fresh snow, but the stormy wind made it difficult for us to capture this atmosphere with the camera. You can probably see how strong the wind was on the mountain peaks. There is no photoshop here haha....

A picture in which one would like to withdraw. In reality, it is not as strange and cold as it first appeared to me. It was on a freezing cold October day when I saw this scene. I wandered around in the Swiss mountains all day, even though the weather was anything but friendly. Well, a photographer loves this kind of weather too because it creates unique moods. I discovered exactly such a special atmosphere while hiking back to my starting point. But only when I looked back did I see this lonely house by the rocks. I immediately asked myself how it is possible to get there and... to live on this place? I saw no way that would lead up there and just couldn't imagine how to get to this house. The path stayed hidden from me that day and that's a good thing, because I don't have to know everything, I just could marvel at this strange winter landscape in the Alps on a somewhat unusual October day. It was the first and very early snow in the mountains that came in this time of year. It was still autumn and nobody was in the mountains that day but me....
How very different and inviting the same place looks in summer I don't need to describe here. Just imagine it. But even in summer I really don't know how to get up there to the house by the rocks.
In addition: I am actually in love with colors in photography. This picture is different. Maybe you will turn a blind eye for this, if there is only little color in my latest picture. Hope you can at least enjoy a bit with me my newest photography. Don't have a look to long on it, other wise do you start to freeze.... haha....

On a rainy day ...
... at a small mountain lake in the Swiss alps
A little story about the picture: We were so looking forward to this weekend, where we wanted to visit this mountain lake all together. The weather forecast did not bode well, but we were still hopeful that there would be some nice moments. Unfortunately, the weather was even worse than the forecasts said, because on the first day it rained almost constantly and it was bitterly cold. Arriving at the accommodation, we still wanted to hike that day to the lake high in the mountains. Everything was gray and wet and we could therefore walk very badly. When we arrived at the little lake, it was still raining and the fog was low over the mountains. We only saw the water from the lake. We could not even recognize the trees all around. We were all alone up there. (Normally there are some visitors on this amazing place.) That was the beautiful side of this weather, because it was so quiet and peaceful in this wild nature. We arranged ourselves with the weather and tried to capture this mood with our cameras. Somehow it should work, after all, they should be weatherproof, according to the manufacturer. Well, we could test that extensively on this day. It was not very long and our cameras were completely wet with all the accessories. We started to freeze because everything was wet on us too. We then tried desperately to avert the damage. At some point we gave up and tried to focus only on photographing, which we partially succeeded, as the rain for a few minutes became less or stopped altogether. Out of this background, this photo was taken here. We spent a whole afternoon in the rain and in the evening anyway or just because of that, we were all happy together with a good and warm dinner in the accommodation.
Addition: Both of my cameras were totally wet including bags and still worked after that day. So both survived the hard test in the swiss alps, because the next day it rained on and I continued to shoot with both cameras !!!
By the way, I've never seen more intense colors in the fall than on those rainy & unforgettable days in the swiss mountain world. I learned something new, that you can also enjoy the rainy weather as well.

It was on a full moon night ...
... in which the sky came closer to me. The firmament was breathtakingly beautiful that night. The elements of creation were more noticeable in this particular place than elsewhere. It seemed like I was standing on the roof of the world and the infinite universe in front of me. Moments of joy and strong emotions surrounded me. My soul was filled with gratitude that I received such a gift for free. This night was different and something very wonderful. The silence, the peace, the harmony, everything seemed to be in my heart on this full moon night in the Swiss Alps.
Every landscape has its own special soul, like a human being whom you love standing opposite.
Let your heart also look at nature with your eyes. You look very different. Beautiful, charming, intoxicating.
Creation has a thousand joys for those who seek them, and enter their temple with a warm heart.
