The story behind the picture:
My eldest son and I set out early in the morning for a distinctive location in the Swiss Alps. Jonah was up there in his military mission and was enthusiastic about the mountains. Once there we could only marvel at the steep rock faces and the magnificent view. We could look from there up to Germany. Most impressive was this house on the rocks. What a work! How much work is behind it? After all, this wooden house stands on a rock and in a rugged mountain landscape, which can be dangerous. We enjoyed this sight and hiked from there to a lower mountain lake, which you will might see later on my page. Hope so. By the way, my son is in the photo. No, no, not the man with the red backpack who climbs up the stairs tiredly. No, mine is the one who picks him up. Ha, ha....

Our Creator would never have made such lovely days and have given us the deep hearts to enjoy them, above and beyond all thought, unless we were meant to be immortal.

Discover Switzerland Part III

It was not an easy climb to this little jewel of the Swiss Alps, but it compensated us in the form of this magnificent view that we were allowed to enjoy there. What could be better than experiencing and enjoying the uniqueness of creation together on a sunny summer's morning? The serenity and peaceful atmosphere in this place filled our hearts with new strength and joy. This summer day was an unforgettable experience for us in the beauty of our beloved homeland.

I would like to express my gratitude to all my friends here for the nice and sweet words for my little work of love. It means having so many friends with whom I can share my joy in photography around the world. What a pleasure, what a gift, what a blessing. I wish you all a lot of joy and happiness out there in the world and beautiful nature that gives us so much.

Only when you love every thing will the mystery of God reveal itself in the things.

It is sweet to be absorbed in the great silence and to become one with nature.

Every being in nature, in man, in love must wait, be patient, until his time comes to bloom.

Explore Switzerland Part 4

A cool place to enjoy the hot summer days in Switzerland. A refreshing location to be.

It was a moment of joy when we saw him: The glacial lake in the mountains of our homeland. At almost 3000m above sea level, he lay before us and radiated all his unique beauty. We were excited and happy at the same time. The hard climb to this jewel of nature was more than worth it. It's moments like these that keep motivating me to go to my beloved mountains and face some difficulties, because the beauty of nature gives us more back than we can imagine. My soul becomes calm, my heart is full of joy when I stand before such a beauty and can enjoy every minute.

My son and I share the same joy. The joy of nature, the creation of God. If both of us can experience such a moment together, it is like a gift from heaven, because we both love nature and especially the mountains in our homeland.

I would like to invite my dear friends to share in our joy a little. I thank you for your wonderful friendship, which motivates me again and again to the new, to capture the most beautiful moments in order to share with you here. Thank you so much for this.

In addition: This picture was taken a little earlier than our hike to that place this summer. The first time I was able to admire this little juvel was in autumn. The reason lies in the reflection, which is rendered more beautiful here. I really want to show you my most beautiful photos, so your joy may be a little bigger. At least I hope so.

There is a time in the mountains, which we call in Switzerland "mountain spring". This spring comes later than the normal spring in our Land, because the flowers bloom in higher regions much later and usually only for a short time, but more intense. It is one of the most beautiful times of the year for me, because in the mountains it is cooler in the summertime and the vegetation is so colorful. I love to be in the mountains during this time. Please enjoy with me this little pearl of nature. It is uniquely beautiful.

For my friends: I will be away for some days and have no time to be on flickr then. We go together to the south-west part of Switzerland, where are the highest mountains of the alps. It finally comes true, what we have long wished and planned for. It will be our most intense and hardest mountain tour and we hope for wonderful experiences there.
