The Indianapolis Traction Terminal was the terminal station of a network of a dozen or so interurban electric railway, namely trolley car lines, that connected Indianapolis with most other cities in Indiana. The last trolley car operated out of the terminal in 1940. The giant shed functioned as a bus terminal for another 20 years or so. The structure was dismantled sometime in the 1980's.
