It seems like a kid's dream to have so much Lego at your disposal you can climb on top of it. The boy in this image must have felt like that at the Lego House in Billund, Denmark. Although these are just the outside stairs that are not actually made of the famous toy blocks, it is a nice appetizer for the full experience inside.

This apartment building I discovered in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, California. I loved the surreal quality of the wall painting depicting a blue sky with clouds. On one side there is the illusion of the painted clouds that seem to continue behind the building in which the windows seem to float. Yet at the same time a closer look at the wall surface shows that plaster texture is quite different from the real sky.
