I like my rocks wet! I say there is really no bad weather for photography. The trick is choosing a subject strategically. On the day this image was taken, I had some big plans that I have been dreaming up for a while. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for my original vision was not ideal. Because I know the Southwest well, I was able to find a great alternative for that specific weather. The forecasted rain brought out intense colors of the red rocks and fall foliage with a polarizer and made the mud cracks more defined.
