In order to take this shot and a couple yet to come, I had to get down on my belly using my elbows as a tripod, not the most comfortable position due to the hard-packed soil with small, scattered rocks inbedded in the soil. The Exif data indicated that I was only .60 meters from this dragon and I could actually stretch my arm out within 4 inches of her and she wouldn't even move from her perch.
