Mono Lake is one of the many super-photogenic stops that a photographer who's traveling along California HWY 395 will usually make. It's conveniently next to Lee Vining and the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Deep in the Ozarks of Arkansas lies a waterfall that's called, The Glory Hole. It's a marvelous place where a creek has cut a circular hole through a giant overhanging bluff. Unlike most waterfalls, which are best photographed under soft light, The Glory Hole looks angelic when the sun is above the hole and shines down it with the waterfall.

I've backpacked all of the Ozark Highlands Trail in Arkansas, and the section which runs along Hurricane Creek is easily my favorite.

Even though the temperature is moderate all year long, the always changing weather is one of my favorite things about San Francisco, my favorite city in the world. This was taken from up on Mt. Tamalpais.

This boat is something that I've passed several times while on my way into Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, California,, and I decided to finally make the effort to photograph it during Presidents Day Weekend. It was too cloudy and overcast in the morning, and the moon was a couple days past full, so I went out there at night and made a series of eight-minute moonlit exposures and blended them together.
