Fall is finally almost here in Colorado. The trees are just beginning to turn their amazing shades of orange and yellow, the Elk have begun their rut, we have had our first snow in the mountains and the air is crisp. I love this time of year!

Transitioning from the reddish color of a new calf to the dark brown of an older moose this years calf is growing up. He was so fun to watch as he would go off on his own and then run back to mom for safty.

We found a family of Swainson's Hawks with 2 recently fledged chicks. Here the parent seemed to be calling them in as he was screaming they came flying in.
