Summer mood in the volcanic landscape of the Eastern Eifel near Plaidt. Lava, pumice, and basalt are still mined there, as can be seen in the background on the right. Between them, in a valley floor, lies the ruins of Wernerseck Castle, of which only the tower is visible here.

Sommerstimmung in der Vulkanlandschaft der Osteifel bei Plaidt. Dort wird immer noch Lava, Bims und Basalt abgebaut, was man rechts im Hintergrund erkennen kann. Dazwischen in einer Talsohle liegt die Burgruine Wernerseck, von der hier nur der Turm zu sehen ist.

Last evening sun over the vineyards of the Langhe near Treiso.
In Treiso, vines are grown for Dolcetto d'Alba, a red wine with DOC status.
Hazelnuts are also cultivated in the less suitable areas for viticulture.

In Treiso werden Reben für den Dolcetto d’Alba, einen Rotwein mit DOC Status angebaut.
Darüber hinaus werden in den weiniger für Weinbau geeigneten Flächen Haselnüsse kultiviert.
